Organize Projects into Folders

Use folders to group and organize your automation projects.

Folders are shown at the top of the Projects Home page. Click to open a folder and see the projects.

Create a new folder

Click on the Folders button in the upper right of the Projects Home page. Select New and enter a name for the folder. You can create subfolders inside other folders as well.

Add a project to a folder

Open the Project (Configure Data) and go to Settings. In the Parent Folder dropdown, select the folder. Scroll down and save the project.

Remove a project from a folder

To move a project to a different folder, select that folder in the Project Folder dropdown in the Project Settings. The Global Folder moves that project out of all folders and into the parent directory.

Delete a folder

Open the folder and click on the Folders button. Choose Delete from the dropdown menu. 

Deleting a folder does not delete the projects within it. The projects will be moved up to the parent directory.
