Built-in pragmas for dates and page numbers

All built-in functions begin with "fn:" inside the curly braces. These pragmas may be used as text placeholders on your slides or in the output filename.

Current Period

• fn:date  - Today's date. It can be formatted in a variety of ways in the formatting options.
• fn:dayofweek - The name (Monday, etc.) corresponding to today's date. 
• fn:month - The name (January, etc) of the current month.
• fn:week - The date range of the current week as "Start Date - End Date". Set the week start day to either Monday or Sunday in the project settings. The format of the start and end dates may be configured in the formatting options.
• fn:year - Provides the current year (2024, etc).
  
  

Relative dates: Add a + or - inside the pragma to calculate a date relative to one of the functions above. For example, {{fn:date-5}} provides the date five days ago and {{fn:date+10}} provides the date ten days from now.

Prior period

• fn:priormonth - The name (January, etc.) of the prior month.
• fn:priorweek - Provides the date range of the prior week as "Start Date - End Date". Set the week start day to either Monday or Sunday in the project settings. The format of the start and end dates may be configured in the formatting options.
• fn:prioryear - Provides the prior year.

Start of period

• fn:startmonth - The date of the start of the current month.
• fn:startweek - The date of the start of the current week.
• fn:startyear - The date of the start of the current year.

Page or slide numbers

• fn:page - Automatically fills in the slide number in the output slide deck.
